Residential Students

Meal Plan Descriptions

If you live in the Residence Halls:
      Eagle Plan 
Students that have Under 30 credit hours will be automatically signed up for this meal plan.  Those on this meal plan will be able to go one meal per meal period, every meal during the week and can use those meals in the Golden Eagle or in the Hill Top Coffee Shop(up to $6.10).  They will also have 100 flex dollars that can be used in the Golden Eagle, the Hill Top Coffee Shop or the designated Vending Machines. Any student living in the dorms may change to this meal plan.
       Wing Plan
Students that have between 30 and 95 credit hours will be automatically signed up for this meal plan.  Those on this meal plan will be able to go one meal per meal period, for 14 meals during the week and can use those meals in the Golden Eagle or in the Hill Top Coffee Shop(up to $6.10).  They will also have 425 flex dollars that can be used in the Golden Eagle, the Hill Top Coffee Shop or the designated Vending Machines. Any student that has 30 or more credit hours and living in the dorm may change to this meal plan.
      Senior Plan
Students that have 96 or more credit hours will be automatically signed up for this meal plan.  Those on this meal plan will be able to go one meal per meal period, for 8 meals during the week and can use those meals in the Golden Eagle or in the Hill Top Coffee Shop(up to $6.10).  They will also have 425 flex dollars that can be used in the Golden Eagle, the Hill Top Coffee Shop or the designated Vending Machines. This is a plan for those that have 96 or more credit hours only.
Need to add more money on your plan? 
The Dining Services will be more than happy to do that for you.  We can do that with Cash, Check, Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa and Discover) or bill to your student account from our office in President's HallWe will be more that happy to add flex dollars in $10.00 increments.  Ten dollars will get $10 worth of flex dollars
What if I want to change meal plans but have already used more flex dollars than the plan I want to move to allows for or have been using more each week in meals? 
You can change meal plans any time that you wish throughout the school year. If you have used more flex dollars or weekly meals than the plan you want to move to allows for, then you can "buy into that plan" with Cash, Check, Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa and Discover) or bill to your student account from our office in President's Hall.
 Can’t make it to a meal? 
There are two programs available for you to choose from:
 Sick Tray
There is now a policy that will allow you to get a meal from the Golden Eagle when you are sick.
If you find yourself in need of this service, here is how it works:
1.    Go to your RA or RD and let them know that you are sick and ask them if they could get a sick tray for you.
2.    With your RA or RD, fill out the sick tray form that they should supply.
3.    Send your RA or RD to the Golden Eagle with your ID card.
4.    We will charge your ID and send the meal back with your RA or RD.
This program is only available to on-campus students with valid meal plans. Abuse of this program will terminate its availability to a student.
Special Needs
Students with special dietary needs should consult the Golden Eagle Kitchen Supervisor, Chef Robisch. All effort will be made to meet the special needs of the student.
Meal on the Run
A Meal on the Run can be obtained by filling out the survey online. Please follow the link below and fill out the survey. An email of confirmation will be sent to you. On the day you have chosen, come to the Golden Eagle to pick up the meal.
           I am leaving the dorms after the semester starts, what do I do?
As soon as Student Life lets us know that you moved out of the dorm, we will place your Residential meal plan on hold.
Students have until the 14th day of semester classes to leave the dorms with a refund of unused meals will be made to their student account.
After the 14th day, the student will to go to the Dining Services office to cancel their meal plan and pay for any meal and flex dollars that they used and a $20.00 handling fee.  They can pay with Cash, Check, Credit Card or Commuter dollars.
After the 30th day, the student will to go to the Dining Services office to cancel their meal plan and pay for any meal and flex dollars that they used and a $100.00 handling fee.  They can pay with Cash, Check, Credit Card or Commuter dollars.
After the 45th day, their will be no refund given.
 

Commuter and CALL Students

If you are not a resident student, you can sign up for a declining plan. This plan pays 15 bonus declining dollars for every $75 put on your card.  This program is not automatic. You must go to Student Financial Services office and ask to be signed up.  This Meal Plan stays active until you graduate. This plan is great for CALL, Commuter, Seminary and Graduate Students.

Commuter and CALL Plan $75.00
 
The Commuter Meal Plan can be obtained in the Business Office in $75.00 increments. When you sign up for the Commuter Plan, you will pay $75.00 and will receive $90.00 in Purchasing Power. As you make a purchase in either the Dining Hall or the Hill Top, your balance declines from $90.00 and gets less each time you use it until there is no balance left. When you see that you are getting low, you can go back to the business office and purchase the same plan. This money expires when you no longer attend Cincinnati Christian University and is not refundable.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff, when you come to the "All you care to eat" Golden Eagle, you will get a discounted price at the door.  You may bring as many guests as you would like to eat at the discounted price.  Even though you can pay at the door with Credit, Debit, Cash, or Check, some of you may want to put money on your ID badge.  You can do this in $50.00 increments at the Student Financial Services Office. 

Faculty/Staff Plan $50.00
 
The Faculty Meal Plan can be obtained in the Student Financial Services Office in $50.00 increments. When you sign up for the Faculty Plan, you will pay $50.00 and will receive $50.00 in Purchasing Power. As you make a purchase in either the Dining Hall or the Hill Top, your balance declines from $50.00, and gets less each time you use it until there is no balance left. When you see that you are getting low, you can go back to the business office and purchase the same plan. This money expires when you are no longer employed by Cincinnati Christian University. This is for Faculty and Staff only and is non refundable.
